You can read eMagazines for free through Flipster, a resource provided statewide through Delaware Libraries.

There is nothing to download - you only need to be connected to the Internet and have your library card handy.  There are dozens of complete magazines to browse, from Consumer Reports to O, The Oprah Magazine, and many back issues from 2014 (when we started subscribing).  You can also print articles.

Free apps for iOS devices, and Android tablets, are available to make reading even more convenient and enjoyable.

Let us know if you have any problems or questions with this, or any of our library's resources.

  1. Can one read magazines on Amazon Kindle Paperwhite? (I'm not speaking about Amazon Fire tablets)

  2. Hi-thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the Flipster app does not appear to be compatible with the Kindle Paperwhite. You can check which Amazon devices you may have that are compatible by viewing the app in Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/EBSCO-Information-Services-Flipster-Magazines/dp/B00PR51XWM when logged into your Amazon account.
