Thank you for using Ask-A-Librarian to inquire about libraries' acceptance of book donations. Each library has their own individual policy regarding donations. This is because every library has different needs and collections for the patrons they serve.

For example, Kent County Public Library accepts donations during their regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 9am to 8 pm. and Weekends 1pm to 5pm.  However, please call (302) 744-1919 to verify if they are currently accepting donations before visiting the library.

If you are interested in donating to another library, please contact them directly regarding their specific donation policy.  Here is the list of Delaware Libraries with their phone numbers.
