For some library services online, you need both your library card number and PIN, such as to log on to the Delaware Library Catalog app.  PINs are automatically assigned when a person first obtains a library card. You can securely request your PIN yourself through the email that you have on your library card account.

To retrieve your PIN:

  1. Go to the Delaware Library Catalog login page.
  2. Click on "Forgot Your PIN?" found on the top of the page.  This will bring up a popup window and you'll need to click on "Change/Forgot PIN," and then enter your library card number.
  3. You will receive an email notification to reset your PIN; just follow the prompts.
  4. Alternatively, you can also ask for your PIN the next time you visit the library.
  5. For assistance, please feel free to reach out through Ask a Librarian Delaware.

Thank you so much for asking and using our libraries.  We truly appreciate your service.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can provide.

  2. Hi T - The phone number of the South Coastal Public Library is (302) 858-5518. You can find this and other information for all of the Delaware Libraries on this web page - https://lib.de.us/list-of-libraries/
