You can renew library materials yourself by logging into your library account online using your 14-digit library card number (located on the back of your library card) and PIN. Here's are the steps:

When you log into your library account click on "My Account".  You'll see the options for renewing your items in the tab "Checkouts".

Check the box next to the item or items you want to renew (see the boxes next on the left of the book cover images), then press the purple "renew" button.  If they are renewable, they will be renewed for another loan period as of that moment.

If the item can't be renewed, it may be that the item is being requested by another patron, you've reached your renewal limit, or something else is going on.

If you have any trouble renewing or just simply would like our help, please feel free to ask us.

It is also possible to renew your items via our app. Here is information about how to use the app.

Thank you for using our Delaware Libraries - we truly appreciate you and hope to see you online and in our libraries soon!
