If you'd like to request a title be considered for purchase for our ebook/eAudiobook collection, we're glad to hear from you!

First, we have to check to see if the electronic version is available for purchase.  You can do this yourself, in fact, as well as recommend that the item be ordered.  Recommendations can be offered once every 14 days.

For further information about the process of ebook purchasing, please refer to our FAQ on "finding ebooks but zero copies are available."

Here's how:

  • Go to the  Delaware OverDrive catalog and log in using your 14-digit library card number.
  • Then, search for the title.
  • If the title is not in the library's collection you will have the option to choose "add titles the library doesn't own" which will search through all of the titles OverDrive offers.
  • If the title is available in electronic format, it will appear in the search results. There will be an option to recommend underneath the cover image. You can make a recommendation once every 14 days.

We appreciate hearing from patrons and hope you can use this convenient way to let us know what you'd like!

If there is anything else we can provide to assist you, please feel free to ask.  Thank you again for using our services and supporting our libraries.  We truly appreciate it!
