  Delaware Libraries is excited to offer hoopla!  Since it is offered as a service to all of our Delaware Libraries in the Statewide Consortium, it is listed under Delaware Libraries in hoopla.  Please search for "Delaware Libraries" and click on "Delaware Libraries, Dover, DE" during the registration process.

Here are the quick steps to sign up:

  1. Visit hoopladigital.com in a web browser
  2. Choose “Get Started Today” to open sign-up window
  3. Fill out your information (Email, Create a password for hoopla)
  4. Type “Delaware Libraries” into the search box
  5. Choose "Delaware Libraries, Dover, DE" in the list and then click “Next”
  6. Enter your library card number (account number)
  7. You can then download the hoopla app onto a mobile device and login and use directly from there as well.
  8. Enjoy streaming eBooks, eAudiobooks, music, movies, or tv shows!

I had no problem finding DE libraries on hoopla but when I tried to sign up I entered my card number and keep getting a message about “prospect missing for id ...” and a bunch of numbers, so I can’t create an account. I’m typing in the exact number that’s on my card and for whatever reason it’s not working. Frustrating!

  3. When I type my library number the answer is: Your library card has already been registered. Please log into your hoopla account, or contact the library.

  4. Hi Kris - Please use the email form or text message for the Ask a Librarian Delaware service so we can further assist - https://answers.delawarelibraries.org/. We'll need your library card number and the email address you used to create a login with hoopla to check the backend system. Thanks!
